Frequently asked questions
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes. We are covered by a liability policy issued by Kimberly Vassal Insurance Agency and our Workers Compensation policy is through The Hartford.
Q. Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
A. For the initial cleaning yes, at least for the first few minutes to give the cleaner the tour. For subsequent cleanings we are comfortable using a door code, we can keep a key, or we can provide a lock box - whatever you're comfortable with.
Q. Do I need to provide any cleaning supplies?
A. Our cleaners are well equipped and will have all of the essentials. If you prefer a certain brand, or have an appliance that requires a specialty chemical we may ask you to provide it - just check with the cleaner.
Q. Are the supplies you use green?
A. We care about the environment and use green supplies whenever possible.
Q. What is included?
A. It depends on the service you choose.
Q. How do I pay?
A. We will send you a bill via email and you'll have options to pay online with a credit or debit card, or you can send us a check.
Q. Is tipping ok?
A. Yes tipping is ok and the cleaners appreciate it, but it is not expected. You can leave cash tip, and you can also include a tip when you pay your bill (100% of the tip goes to the cleaner)
Q. What if I am not happy with the service I received?
A. This has never happened so we don't have an answer...kidding. If something was missed or not to your liking and the cleaner is still there, please feel free to ask them to take care of it while they're there. If they've already left then let us know and we'll either send someone back out or take care of it with the next cleaning.
Q. How many cleaners will you send?
A. Typically it's just one cleaner, but sometimes we may send an additional team member.
Q. Will it be the same cleaner every time?
A. We do our best to send the same person each time, and the cleaners prefer this as well. Sometimes we may need to send an alternate, but we'll let you know in advance if this is the case.
